Puppies and Plans

 Lucky and Colt have puppies!  

We have 2 puppies available to loving and active homes. We are looking for an experienced                                                     owner for Kelsey, who we would like to place on breeding terms.

Lucky is a confident and social girl.  She thinks everyone is her friend (with some few exceptions) and that life is one big fun experience.   She is a happy dog, always ready for action, afraid of nothing.  Gunshots do not bother her at all.  She likes children.  She considers herself “alpha” with other dogs, but is never aggressive towards them as long as they understand their place.  She has inherited a great many things from her grandfather Dakota Dancer.

Colt has a more typical aussie temperament. He is reserved with strangers (but not aggressive) until he gets to know them and shows relatively strong guardian instincts.  He is an active dog but relaxes when in the house.  Coming from the famous Mistretta working lines, he easily passed a herding instinct test, showing excellent balance with the stock. He competes in Class 2 in both Agility/standard and Agility/jumpers and trains in obedience and  tracking. 

We expect fine puppies from this combination.  They may be shown, but even more important, they should be easily trained in a variety of dog activities, such as herding, tracking, agility, obedience, etc.    We believe they should be fine family members in active homes where the aussie temperament is understood.

All colors are possible in this litter.
